Job Description
Join Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care as a Veterinary Technician in Internal Medicine, where you'll support advanced diagnostics and specialty procedures while ensuring compassionate care for patients and clients. Key Responsibilities
Assist with ultrasounds, endoscopies, and other imaging procedures
Provide technical support for internal medicine diagnostics and treatments
Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients regarding their pet’s care
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care
Manage appointment coordination, patient flow, and follow-up communications
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with timely referral documentation
Cross-train and support the Cardiology department as needed
Required Qualifications
Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)
Prior experience or interest in Internal Medicine or specialty care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ultrasound and endoscopy procedures
Comfortable using veterinary software systems
