Key Responsibilities
Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Prepare equipment and assist during labor and delivery
Provide immediate postpartum care
Educate patients on postpartum recovery and newborn care
Collaborate with healthcare teams for cohesive care
Respond to obstetric emergencies
Document patient care and interventions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Perform fetal monitoring
Assist in cesarean sections and other procedures
Comply with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
