Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, Level 1, and make a significant impact on individuals with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities
Design and monitor Behavior Management Programs and Individualized Behavior Support Plans
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Implement crisis intervention techniques
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and maintain documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for behavioral needs
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology
Documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
At least three years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
National board certification as a Behavior Analyst (BACB)
NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA)
NYS license in mental health counseling
