Job Description
Monte Nido Portland is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in a residential treatment program for adults with eating disorders. This role involves overseeing nursing operations, ensuring safety standards, and developing staff while working overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Nurse Manager to oversee operations and functions of Nursing
Participate in scheduling, leading, and developing nursing staff
Ensure medical safety standards are followed
Liaise between administration, physicians, pharmacy, and clinical staff
Share call rotation with the Nurse Manager
Required Qualifications
Active license as Registered Nurse or license eligible
Previous experience in a nursing operations leadership role
Professional Nursing for Mental Health or Behavioral Health patient populations
Excellent communication and time management skills
Safety awareness and collaborative teamwork
Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
Having or pursuing BSN
Experience in a hospital or residential setting
