Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to all customers
Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait time
Complete check-in tasks including insurance verification
Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles
Manage cashier box and daily deposits
Process walk-in patients and visitors
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Manage medical records and correspondence
Ensure waiting room cleanliness and assist patients
Work with back-office staff for smooth patient flow
Resolve service issues and assist co-workers as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
Strong communication skills both in person and via phone
1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a medical office or medical environment
Previous experience with medical insurance
Prior experience with EMR computer applications
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Working knowledge of general office procedures
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
