Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait time
  • Complete check-in tasks including insurance verification
  • Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles
  • Manage cashier box and daily deposits
  • Process walk-in patients and visitors
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Manage medical records and correspondence
  • Ensure waiting room cleanliness and assist patients
  • Work with back-office staff for smooth patient flow
  • Resolve service issues and assist co-workers as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills both in person and via phone
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office or medical environment
  • Previous experience with medical insurance
  • Prior experience with EMR computer applications
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
