Key Responsibilities
Receive service calls and diagnose problems
Perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems
Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals
Service and install various Fire & Life Safety systems
Exhibit excellent customer service
Complete Service Acknowledgements
Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation
Train or mentor others on the service team
Provide solutions to building inefficiencies
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
2+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems
Rhode Island Electrician License
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and operational/product manuals
Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment up to 50-70 lbs
Ability to work in unusual positions and heights
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Demonstrate a high level of customer service
Maintain truck inventory
Ability to adhere to safety guidelines
Strong organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Massachusetts Electrician License
