Responsibilities:
Accountable for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe patient use during anesthetic, including stocking anesthesia cars/rooms and equipment, cleans and sterilizes equipment, and checks equipment for malfunctions. Communicates with and assists Anesthesiologists, CRNA, and Managers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- 6 months of Anesthesia Technician or similar experience OR graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program required
- Familiarity with anesthesia equipment/supplies, various modalities, treatments and medications required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
