Job Description
Join Healthcare Services Group as a Cook and play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about enhancing customer and resident experiences while making a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification based on State/County law
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Residency within the service area
