Key Responsibilities
Assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications and medical equipment.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Driver’s License
National EMT certification or ability to become nationally registered within one year
CPR/BLS certifications
Driving record in compliance with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
