Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Operates MRI equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians
Performs MRI procedures accurately and efficiently according to established standards
Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for performing MRI
Coordinates daily schedules for efficiency and assesses exam completion
Assists with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation
Maintains records required by the Radiology Department and other regulatory bodies
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
Radiography (R) certification from ARRT upon hire
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT upon hire
Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
