Job Description
As a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician with the Jewish Board, you'll provide crucial crisis interventions for children and young adults facing emotional disturbances. Join a dedicated team making a significant impact in the Staten Island community, providing immediate support and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Develop and implement safety and service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for short-term clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in the electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Work with Clinical Director on intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication with consumer families
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians (preferred if relevant to the population serviced at site)
