Key Responsibilities
Plan and develop diet interventions and medical nutrition therapy
Monitor nutritional care of clients/patients/residents across all ages
Provide education and counseling for disease and nutrition risk management
Optimize self-management education for clients with chronic conditions
Work on nutrition care protocols and lead the healthcare team in nutrition therapies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in dietetics or food and nutrition from an ACEND accredited program
Clinical nutrition experience through an approved coordinated undergraduate program or post-graduate internship
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) license in applicable state(s)
Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Preferred Qualifications
Temporary/limited permit nutritionist license for registry eligible individuals
