Key Responsibilities
Effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, sterilization, and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment
Collaboration with other departments to ensure availability of supplies and equipment for surgical cases
Acting as a patient safety advocate
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a sterile processing course or 1 year of healthcare experience
Certification as a National Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 18 months of hire
Certification as a National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 18 months of hire
Experience using personal computer and basic software programs
Preferred Qualifications
