GENERAL FUNCTION:

The HR/Staffing Manager will be responsible for talent acquisition and staffing, and overseeing all functions related to employee relations. The HR/Staffing Manager uses proactive recruitment and retention practices to maintain the capability of responding quickly to staff attrition, absenteeism, and/or increases in workload volume. This position makes every effort to retain qualified staff and minimize attrition. The HR/Staffing Manager works closely with the Workforce Optimization Manager on staffing needs associated with short- and long-term forecasts. The HR/Staffing Manager maintains a close working relationship with the Corporate Executive Senior Vice President of HR to ensure alignment with all corporate policies. This position oversees the activities of the Recruiter. This position reports to the Account Manager and Executive SVP of Human Resources and is 100% devoted to the Project

SPECIFICATIONS:

Knowledge – Bachelor’s degree in related field required; PHR/SPHR or Master’s degree preferred. Health care experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities – Articulate professional with knowledge of principles and methods of human resources management; must have a demonstrated ability to set policy which facilitates the attainment of the Project goals and objectives. Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills, and have strong supervisory, comprehensive planning, and training skills. Ability to work well under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism is a must. Must have demonstrated presentation skills. Must be capable of relating to a broad range of employees and professionals. Strong PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio) required.

Experience – Minimum two to four years of Human Resources management experience. Minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience in a Human Resources setting. Strong HR background with emphasis on staffing and talent acquisition required.

Exertional Level – Light work – some lifting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling are required occasionally. Travel required.
