Join Methodist Hospital Northeast as a New Graduate RN and be part of a supportive Nurse Residency Program designed to help you transition from student to practicing nurse. You'll receive hands-on experience, mentorship, and advanced clinical training while providing compassionate patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes
Perform procedures and document care in the patient medical record
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions and care
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
No previous experience needed
Preferred Qualifications
Other Certifications may be required during employment
Some travel may be needed for training
