Key Responsibilities
Support licensed practitioners by performing clinical tasks
Obtain vital signs, administer injections, and medication administration
Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients
Perform duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months of healthcare experience
6 months of medical assistant experience
