Job Description
The Jewish Board seeks a Medical Director for their Coordinated Community Behavioral Health Center. This role involves leading clinical teams, supporting psychiatric best practices, and providing direct client services while ensuring high-quality integrated care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead clinical team meetings and high-risk meetings
Assist with providing prescription coverage and clinical consultations
Support recruitment efforts by interviewing psychiatric candidates
Supervise NPP students and Psych providers
Provide direct client services
Partner with CCBHC site-based leadership to oversee clinical operations
Required Qualifications
Active New York State medical license
DEA
Extensive experience providing psychiatric care
Specialty or considerable experience in Substance Use Treatment
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty board certification in addiction psychiatry
Certification from the American Society of Addiction Medicine
Certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM)
Subspecialty board certification in Addiction Medicine from the American Osteopathic Association
