Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 bi-weekly guaranteed)
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), 30 beds
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner EMR
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, telemetry, or progressive care experience
• Proficiency in telemetry nursing skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation in the Progressive Care Unit
• Manage care for patients with heart failure, stroke, and other progressive medical conditions
• Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR system
• Float to other nursing units as required to support hospital operations
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
