Job Description
Join MediLodge of Campus Area as a Staff Development Coordinator RN and play a vital role in enhancing the skills and compliance of nursing staff. This position offers you the opportunity to lead training programs, ensure quality care, and make a meaningful impact on residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and coordinate the center Staff Development Program
Ensure employees receive compliance training and education
Monitor employee performance for compliance
Develop and conduct orientation programs for new staff
Provide hands-on clinical orientation and instruction
Assess resident needs and design appropriate training programs
Conduct annual competency assessments for nursing staff
Assist in department budget preparation
Conduct OSHA/Risk Management program
Ensure educational curriculum meets state and federal requirements
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a RN
Valid CPR teaching certificate (if applicable)
Current with state Continuing Education (CE) Requirements
Three years of nursing experience, with one year in long-term care
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree
One year of experience as an instructor
