Key Responsibilities

  • Function independently ensuring all event aspects are addressed
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of banquet functions
  • Monitor food and service quality standards
  • Supervise guest counts and billing
  • Conduct staff meetings and communicate regularly with staff
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in hotel banquet management
  • Prior experience as a banquet captain and server in a 4-diamond hotel
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships in a high-pressure environment
  • Current service of alcohol training program certification or certification within 3 months of hiring

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RTP and Workday
  • Knowledge of Delphi software
  • Previous experience with food service administrative functions
