Key Responsibilities
Provide vision and leadership to support student achievement
Supervise staff and develop performance management plans
Analyze professional development needs of staff
Ensure safety of staff and students
Oversee day-to-day operations of the school
Drive the enrollment process
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Monitor adherence to Department of Education regulations
Participate in assurance and accreditation processes
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in educational leadership, special education, applied behavior analysis or a closely related field of study
Meet all state and district licensing and/or certification requirements
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential
Minimum 5 years prior experience in special education services
Minimum 3 years prior experience in educational leadership or school administration
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an educational leadership, administration, principal or similar credential
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a state special education credential
