The Case Assistant at The Jewish Board provides essential support to adults with serious mental illness, helping them achieve independence through personalized care and advocacy. This role includes direct interaction with residents, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating with staff to enhance the residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents in attaining independent living skills and individual goals
Assist with daily living activities and advocate for residents
Complete documentation of resident interactions
Participate in staff meetings and trainings
Required Qualifications
High school degree or HSE
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in a Human Services or Community Mental Health setting
