Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel PICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves providing advanced care to critically ill pediatric patients while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
Continuously observe and evaluate patient conditions
Monitor and interpret vital signs and clinical data
Respond to life-saving situations
Initiate a patient education plan
Document relevant history and physical assessments
Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
CCRN Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
