As an EMS Clinical Coordinator at Global Medical Response, you will oversee the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program, coordinating student placements and monitoring their progress. This role involves collaboration with clinical agencies and ensuring compliance with educational standards while making a meaningful impact on future medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates initiation and renewal of clinical/affiliation agreements with agencies
Collaborates with the GMR Learning executive team to ensure current contracts and seeks new clinical/field sites
Participates in regular meetings with Program staff to review student progress and competencies
Develops and maintains relationships with clinical site managers and staff
Schedules clinical rotations and confirms schedules in writing
Supervises and observes students during clinical rotations
Evaluates clinical sites for continued use and incorporates student feedback
Required Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
Must obtain AHA ACLS Instructor, PALS, and PHTLS Instructor certifications within one year of hire
Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse required
Current certification/licensure in the Program state
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience preferred
NREMT preferred
