As an AVP Business Development Officer, you will drive the growth of deposit relationships through proactive outside sales, collaborating with branch managers and engaging with clients to meet their financial needs. Join a dynamic team committed to community support and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform direct calling on prospective new clients to generate deposits and fee income
Meet established sales goals including total deposits and number of new relationships
Work with various partners to ensure clients have the right products
Conduct joint outside sales calls with branch associates
Develop internal and external referral sources through community activities
Maintain contact with deposit customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs
Promote a favorable image of the bank in business activities
Log and maintain all call and sales activity in Sales Force
Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements and government laws/regulations
Required Qualifications
Proven ability to understand and implement a calling plan that meets business development expectations
Analytical skills and reasonable experience level to decision credit requests
Ability to manage multiple duties efficiently with a high commitment to job quality and client satisfaction
Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills
Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance
Ability to interview customers and understand requests
Ability to prioritize; handle multiple tasks, and work independently
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to complete forms and handle transactions with a high degree of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Three to five years outside sale experience
High school diploma or equivalent
