Job Description
Join Sevita as a Licensed Practical Nurse and make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll provide essential nursing services, training, and support in a rewarding and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services
Administer medications and provide documentation
Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services
Conduct assessments and implement health care services
Provide training to staff members on various topics
Serve as liaison and advocate with medical and professional service providers
Provide training for individuals on self-medication and health education
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate
One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
Other certifications as required by state licensing regulations (CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, ACT training)
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families
