Are you a passionate RN eager to make a difference in cardiac patients’ lives? Step into a vital role within our state-of-the-art Cardiac Procedure Center, where you’ll be at the forefront of innovative cardiovascular care. From interventional procedures to complex diagnostics, your expertise will ensure our patients receive exceptional care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a prep or recovery area, with hands-on skills pulling sheaths and managing TR Bands
- Proven proficiency with EPIC documentation systems and experience with Impella devices and IABP
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including passing the Relias EKG exam
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Strong clinical skills in caring for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, valve replacements, pacemakers, defibrillators, and vascular procedures
- Competence in providing conscious sedation and vital assessments under physician direction
- Willingness to float within scope as needed and adapt to cross-training opportunities
Nice to Have:
- Experience with electrophysiology procedures and running hemodynamics as a monitor tech
- Additional certifications related to cardiac or vascular specialties
- Familiarity with hospital telemetry and advanced cardiac monitoring tools
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Active RN license, with pending licenses accepted
- Prior experience in a high-volume, acute care cardiac environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team and stay focused during complex procedures
Other Requirements:
- Must pass the Relias EKG exam and demonstrate competence in dysrhythmia management
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including regular, late, and close shifts (no weekends, holidays, or call)
- Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Candidates should bring their license and be prepared to supply a parking pass or work in designated employee parking if applicable
