Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Prepares the operating room with required instruments and supplies
Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team
Monitors the patient's condition during surgery
Handles surgical instruments and supplies according to protocols
Documents all aspects of patient care
Participates in patient handoff communication
Cleans and restocks the operating room between cases
Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure compliance with policies
Follows hospital safety rules and procedures
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
OR Nursing Certification (CNOR)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
