Job Details:
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Must have at least 1 year of level 1 experience (may consider level 2)• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations • Work in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures • Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures • Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and documentation according to department protocols • Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting • Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and user maintenance of equipment • Must be able to work as part of a team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations • Associate's degree or higher required • Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or completed Paramedic training program • AHA BLS certification required • Must meet ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) eligibility requirements within 12 months of hire OR complete Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire • Participate in continuing education and professional development activitiesFacility:
