Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ortho/Spine Trained Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves scrubbing and circulating for orthopedic procedures, including shoulders, total joints, and spine surgeries. The ideal candidate will be flexible with scheduling and available for call duty as needed.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for various orthopedic and spine surgeries.
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver effective patient care.
- Adapt schedules to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the surgical unit.
- Large trauma level 1 experience within the last year is required.
- EPIC experience from within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
- Must be able to both scrub and circulate; both skills checklists are required in the submission packet.
- Strong experience in general OR, ortho, URO, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma is necessary.
- BLS certification is required.
