Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and repair strategies
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Organize and schedule maintenance activities
Assist in preparing and managing maintenance budgets
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
Communicate and maintain building safety and security standards
Build and sustain a high-performing team
Maintain knowledge of regulatory rules and standards
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2+ years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience in the food manufacturing industry
OSHA safety certification or other relevant safety training
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Strong ability to read, analyze and interpret repair manuals and technical procedures
Experience in managing relationships with external contractors and service providers
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Intermediate computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
