Key Responsibilities
Provides management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods
Acts as a resource to staff regarding administrative programs and policies
Promotes collaboration with physicians and other health care disciplines
Analyzes problems and demonstrates initiative in problem resolution
Conducts investigations of incidents and takes appropriate follow-up action
Develops and implements infection prevention and control program
Oversees resident care activities that increase risk of infection
Participates in facility's QAA Committee and annual assessment review process
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the state you will be working
Three to four years of recent nursing experience
Communication, organization, and planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
One year management experience
