Key Responsibilities
Assists surgeons by handing required instruments during procedures.
Performs all suture and instrument counts without error.
Assists in daily testing and operations of sterilizers.
Decontaminates all instruments and equipment per established policy/procedure.
Documents cleaning process of terminal cleans and assigned rooms each month.
Maintains turnover time within acceptable limits.
Stores products appropriately and checks for outdated supplies.
Prepares instrument and supply packs for distribution.
Required Qualifications
High School or GED Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years Previous healthcare related experience
