Join Guidehouse as a Loss Mitigation Liaison, where you'll play a crucial role in assisting borrowers through the loss mitigation process. This position involves handling inbound and outbound calls, answering client inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting clients in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) throughout the loss mitigation process
Take inbound and make outbound calls to delinquent mortgage loan borrowers
Answer consumer questions about their accounts and document contacts
Understand investor’s waterfall and required documents for loss mitigation
Communicate and explain loss mitigation terms and foreclosure process
Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls
Complete other related duties as assigned
Collect payments from borrowers/customers
Required Qualifications
2 years’ higher education and/or work experience
1 year collections or customer service experience
Effective and professional communication skills over the phone
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Mortgage collections experience
Knowledge of Genesys and Director systems
