As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance Director in ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. You'll perform essential maintenance tasks, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment to enhance the quality of life in the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Carry out scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
Maintain all essential mechanical, electrical, and patient care equipment
Respond to maintenance needs promptly
Conduct inspections and monitoring for safety and compliance
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of one year experience in physical plant and equipment in an institutional environment
Freedom from use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Meets state and federal criminal background check requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational training in skilled trade or other relevant training
