Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and check them in, verify demographics and insurance coverage.
Answer the telephone, route calls, book appointments, and prepare for appointments.
Maintain accurate provider schedules and direct patient flow.
Participate in the cleaning of shared work areas and orientation of new employees.
Monitor and manage patient flow and assist acutely ill patients.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in a service-related industry OR 6+ months of customer service experience in a professional office setting
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate level of computer and telephone skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Excellent proven customer service skills
Ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, and patients
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work
