Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups on self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher, or passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience with children
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
