Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll provide essential speech and language therapy to patients, enhancing their communication abilities through tailored treatments. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and contribute to patient education while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises at least one affiliated student per year
Participates in continuing education and departmental in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license or eligibility
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (or eligibility)
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
