Key Responsibilities
Conduct surgical and nonsurgical treatment of Soldiers' musculoskeletal injuries
Determine treatment courses for patients with musculoskeletal disorders
Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment
Participate in humanitarian missions and leadership training
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in orthopedic surgery
Interest in research and continued education
