Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surgical and nonsurgical treatment of Soldiers' musculoskeletal injuries
  • Determine treatment courses for patients with musculoskeletal disorders
  • Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment
  • Participate in humanitarian missions and leadership training

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school
  • Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
  • U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in orthopedic surgery
  • Interest in research and continued education
