Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating their function and selecting appropriate treatments.
Participates in interdisciplinary education and clinical education of students.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patients' symptoms and medical status.
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows based programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
