Travel RN Job Details

• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry RN (Travel Nursing)
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44119
• Unit: 8th Floor Medical/Surgical Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/3/2025 – End: 1/2/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 – $1,910

Med/Surg Tele RN Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
• Recent Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience (within last 6 months)
• One recent supervisory reference from a Med/Surg Telemetry manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN
• Ability to work every other holiday during the contract
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Document all patient care activities using Epic EHR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in unit-based assessments and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Float to similar nursing units as needed and provide coverage during holidays
