Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Position Summary
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of acute medical conditions. The RN will assess, plan, and implement care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Common Diagnoses/Patients Include:

• Admission hold patients from the Emergency Department
• Overflow medical observation patients
• Patients pending dialysis prior to discharge

• Patients present with diverse medical and surgical conditions requiring general acute care nursing interventions.

   

   

  Requirements
  Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care Med/Surg setting (1 year minimum required)
  License: Active Georgia RN license or compact state equivalent
  BLS (AHA)
  NIHSS
