Job Description
Raytheon is seeking an experienced RF engineer to lead design and integration activities within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization, ensuring RF systems meet stringent requirements. The role offers opportunities to work on advanced systems, enhance technical skills, and contribute to national defense efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF architecture trades and design activities for developmental programs
Perform RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities
Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigation activities
Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and verification plans
Work in a team environment supporting the full lifecycle of system development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with RF electronics design and/or experience with RF antennas
Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
Strong organization, coordination, planning, and communication skills
Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++
Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment
