Key Responsibilities
Directs daily activities within the department
Facilitates employee orientation and training
Performs area specific QA/QC procedures
Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept
Assists physicians with radiographic procedures
Maintains patient records via appropriate system
Performs patient care functions in a safe environment
Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Participates in the evaluation of staff and students as needed
Assists with the transportation of patients and performs basic clerical duties
Required Qualifications
Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
Biennial completion of minimum required CE credits
Licensed by the NJDEPE
Credentialed in radiography and mammography by the ARRT
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License
Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License
CPR certification
