A Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist provides specialized anesthesia care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in a hospital-based cardiac rehab unit. The role involves managing anesthesia for complex procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and endovascular interventions, supported by a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists and surgeons. Board certification and relevant certifications like TEE and DEA are required, with experience preferred for temporary and full hospital privileges.

CRNA support in all cases
Procedures & Volume:
120 pump cases annually
Cardiac surgery (CABG, valve replacements)
Thoracic and vascular surgeries
Cath lab and endovascular procedures
Requirements:
Board Certification required (Cardiac fellowship preferred)
Active PA license (IMLC may be considered)
TEE and DEA certifications required
1 2 years of experience preferred
Credentialing:
Temporary privileges in 2 3 weeks (clean background required)
