You will be responsible for administering therapeutic treatments and collaborating with a dedicated care team focused on rehabilitation and enhancing patients’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
Document client records accurately
Attend educational meetings and contribute to in-services
Notify appropriate personnel of equipment failures and changes
Schedule clients and perform office tasks
Apply infection control concepts in patient care activities
Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence
Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Proof of current CPR certification
Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Comprehensive knowledge of changes in the geriatric population
Self-directed and enthusiastic
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must read, write, and speak fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates good organization skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
Maintains current licensure certifications
