Key Responsibilities
Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assists with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care
Communicates resident's changing condition to the charge nurse
Assists with food preparation and dining experiences
Provides housekeeping and laundry services
Encourages residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum age of 16
High school graduate or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains all department specific required certifications
