Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures

Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals as a Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our Interventional Radiology department.

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing various interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, stroke treatments, and solid organ biopsies. You'll also be involved in pre and post-procedure care, administering procedural sedation with constant monitoring, and utilizing advanced equipment such as EPIC charting, Philips vital machines, and Alaris IV pumps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Active ND or Compact RN License (willing to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1 year ICU experience and/or nursing floor experience
• Ability to administer procedural sedation with constant monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with computerized charting systems
• Knowledge of utilization of Philips vital machines and medication systems (Accudose and Omnicell)
• Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
• 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology

Other Requirements:

• Must badge in and out at facility
• Scrubs provided: Ceil Blue
• No local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles
• Must obtain a valid SSN for onboarding purposes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
