Job Description
Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Medication Assistant, providing compassionate care to residents while administering medications and assisting with daily living activities. Be part of a dedicated team that has served seniors for over a century.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administer prescribed medications under supervision
Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Assist residents with daily living activities
Communicate changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18 preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
