Key Responsibilities
Develop and administer clinical quality improvement programs
Educate physicians and staff about trauma care coverage
Function as a clinical resource nurse for trauma care
Plan and conduct continuing education programs
Maintain Trauma Registry database
Identify and assess trauma patients and institute care pathways
Act as a liaison for research within relevant programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Completion of WA DOH trauma program manager orientation course within 18 months of hire
36 hours of trauma-related education every three years
Washington Registered Nurse License
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate
5 years Nursing experience
2 years Emergency Department experience
Preferred Qualifications
